How does rent to own work?+
You move in now and buy the home without a bank. You put money down up front, and that money goes toward the price of the house. Then you make a monthly payment while you work toward owning it. Maya walks you through it on the phone.
Do I need good credit?+
No bank qualifying, and bad credit is OK. We do run a credit check so we know what we are working with, but it does not rule you out.
How much do I need to put down?+
It depends on what you have to work with and on the house. The more you have, the better we can make the monthly. Tell Maya your number and she will tell you what you can do.
Can a trade count toward my down payment?+
Yes. A truck, boat, RV, camper or motorcycle can go toward your down payment. Tell Maya what you have.
How fast can I see a house?+
Usually the same day. Call or text Maya at (318) 310-4663 and she will tell you how to get in. Houses go first come, first served.
What do I bring at signing?+
Your down payment, your first month, and a $200 application fee. You do not pay the fee until we do the papers.
What areas do you have homes in?+
Shreveport, Bossier City, Keithville and DeSoto Parish. We get new houses in all the time, so if nothing fits today, get on the list.
Who am I dealing with?+
The LN Co (L&N Associates, LLC) in Keithville, Louisiana. We own our homes, so there is no bank to qualify with. Maya answers the buyer line 8 AM to 8 PM every day.
